In a proactive move, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) intensifies its efforts in Sandeshkhali to apprehend individuals responsible for the attack on Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers. On Sunday, the CBI team conducted raids and interrogations at various locations in Sarbariya, focusing on identifying and arresting suspects linked to the assault.
During the operation, the CBI successfully arrested two individuals, including Saifuddin Mollah, who were present during the attack on January 5. Following the arrests, the suspects were taken to the CBI office in Kolkata for interrogation. Additionally, CBI officials, along with CRPF jawans who witnessed the incident, revisited the scene to reconstruct the events and gather crucial insights into the direction of the attack and the escape route taken by the assailants.
